9 Step Mortgage Guide

Our aim at Clear Mortgages is to guide you easily along the steps to owning your own home.

Following our logical steps will help you understand what’s going on and make the whole process easier.

Step 4 Complete your application

Congratulations. Your offer is accepted. Your Clear Mortgages advisor will now help you finalise your mortgage and protection needs and complete the paperwork.

At this stage we will generally require 3 months pay slips, 3 months bank statements, 3 years accounts if self employed, proof of deposit, proof of ID and address. Lenders may require other documentation.

At this point we also need to look at your protection requirements. We will explain the types of protection policies for you and your home and ensure any gaps in cover are identified. Any policies that are to be taken will need the application forms completing so any medical underwriting can take place.
